1. You are expected to treat your fellow Bukkiteers and all members of the Brigade with respect. This applies to everyone at all times, whether you are on the forum, browsing blogs, chatting in the IRC, or leaving a comment under a video. We will not tolerate any sort of harassment towards any of the members of this community, and those who show disrespect moderators will be disciplined and/or possibly banned.
2. We do not allow the bashing, flaming, or ridicule of any kind towards someone's personal opinions. Disagreements and civil debates are welcome and encouraged, but outright trolling will result in the deletion/editing of one's post and possible banishment. The definition of “trolling” will be determined by the moderators and handled accordingly.
3. You may not make posts that advertise another website, YouTube account, etc. The only exception to this rule is a DeviantArt account and only in the specified thread in the Artwork section. Signatures in the forums may include a maximum of two links to off-site reviews. If a moderator feels that you are just blatantly whoring yourself out, you will be contacted by a Brigade member and asked to stop. We ask that you please make use of the D2 Community blogs and post your personal videos and articles there.
4. The D2 Brigade will not tolerate the posting of any sort of pornographic material anywhere on the site; this includes links, images, blog videos, explicit written descriptions, etc. Nothing! If you are unsure whether something you want to post is considered pornographic or not -- or is what you consider to be borderline -- PLEASE contact an administrator before you post.
5. You may only have one account per person. Duplicate accounts will be deleted. If you are unable to access your account for some reason, contact a moderator.
6. Do not link or ask for the links to sites that allow you to download illegal anime content or bootlegs. Do not post HOW to obtain copyrighted material illegally. Posts containing such links will be deleted immediately without warning.
7. During discussions and civil debates, we insist that you make use of the SPOILER tags and DO NOT post a spoiler in a topic title. If you aren’t sure whether something is a spoiler tag or not, use it just to be safe and polite.
8. Swear words are permitted and there is no censoring system of them. However, do not use cuss words excessively or in the direction of another user; also refrain from placing cuss words in the titles of topics.
9. Do not make multiple topics within a short period of time; allow others to respond to your previous topics first. If a topic has not received attention for one week after its being posted, the mods reserve the right to either delete it or move it into archives.
10. Do not claim any artwork, videos, or any other piece of media as your own if it is not your own. Plagiarism is not allowed and will result in disciplinary action. Please give some sort of clear disclaimer when using media that does not belong to / was not created by you.
11. And finally, some general posting rules: DO NOT POST IN ALL CAPS and please try to use proper spelling and grammar when you write. Do not abuse the “quote” function -- any more than 4 quotes is too much. Do not embed videos into your signature and do not stretch the page with images.
12. The D2 Brigade reserves the right to lock/delete/modify any comment or post that we feel violates one or more of these rules. We also reserve the right to amend these rules at any time as a result of recent events.
