Site Update

Hey there guys! December and January were super busy for us, obviously but we finally have regained our sanity once more in order to bring you another HUGE post full of Desudes Brigade announcements! ~ First and foremost, we would like to extend a great big (and slightly grumbly) THANK YOU to all of you who participated in the Taishi Awards of 2009! We hit a whole bunch of rough spots in editing it together, but we’ve finally managed to put aside our rage at technology and Fate and agree that it turned out pretty good! It’s thanks to all of you guys with your nominations and votes that the Taishis really came together — we didn’t work our asses off for nobody, you know! So again, as to be expected, the Brigade salutes our loyal fans for being both patient and awesome.
~ Now if you have been living under a rock, you probably have not noticed all of the wonderful little changes that have occurred ever so slightly to the Desudes Brigade homepage. Buttons have been rearranged and links have been moved, but most of all: stuff has been ADDED! Yes, up on the Navigation Bar we now have a category called Specials, which is basically where the Desu Rattle Podcasts, any and all holiday specials, the Taishi Awards videos, and other awesome miscellaneous content is going to be listed! We also now have a Links bar, which leads to our next bullet of happiness!
~ The Desudes Brigade is looking for site affiliates to link to! As of right now, we only have one — the popular anime-based band known as the LeetStreet Boys. You can check out their site here and if you like what you hear, make sure they know that the D2 Brigade sent ya! ‘Cause we’re cool like that, and trying to plant our seeds all across the Internet in hopes of controlling the world! So, if you have any suggestions — stores, webcomics, etc. — as for who we may have a chance of linking to, please post it below! Help us extend our reach through the interwebs! And check out their newest song: "Yuri The Only One (Orchestrated)" Please Note: We are only Affiliates with the sites listed under that specific heading; we are not currently associated with ANN or Right Stuff. We just think they’re awesome places you should check out regardless!
~ Speaking of new things, you all should keep an eye out for two brand new shows soon to make their appearance on d2brigade.net! Malakye’s solo project consisting of visual novel and manga reviews, and yet ANOTHER chibi-based collaboration of the Desudes Brigade — this time, in a classroom setting! Oh my~
DO EET NAO
~ By and by, have you checked out our Stream Portal yet? Arkada and Vixen spent an entire day revamping and updating the links (it unfortunately fell into the background while running around trying to get the Taishis up) and adding a new informative feature to it: Availability! In other words, every entry now says whether the streaming links work in the US, US and Canada, Worldwide, etc. On top of that, you can now register and log into the Stream Portal (Yeah, you’ll have to register again because the site is a separate one from the main one. Sorry!) and write your own reviews as comments on every entry! We’ll also be adding new entries to the portal every chance we get, so keep checking around for more updates!
~ More things for you guys?! We must be mad! The lovely JesuOtaku has been brave enough to take up the task of hosting weekly Anime Nights at livestream.com at 9PM EST every Friday. With this, both the fans and the Brigade members will be able to enjoy several episodes of a different anime every week — chatting together, like one big happy dysfunctional family! And if you haven’t noticed the vibrantly blue button on the home page, Arkada has established an IRC channel chatroom for even more Brigade x fan action. Hooray for community! ~ All right, okay, just two more things to tell you about and then we PROMISE we’ll let you go! Our second-last being — P-P-P-PREMIUM CONTENT!
Don’t forget! The minimum donation for LIFELONG Premium Membership is STILL only $5! NOT $10! What are you waiting for? Donate now!!! ~And in conclusion, Professor Otaku and Arkada would like to address a few questions that have been coming up lately about the previous site they were hosted on. So here’s a quick message from them explaining all of it.
Okay, that’s it guys! Once again thank you for all of your support and here’s to what we know will be a great year ahead of us!
